"We hope you will enjoy your stay here and we will do everything we can to make your vacation relaxing and fun for the entire family. Whether you want peace and quiet or enjoy talking around the campfire at night, we hope our resort will renew and refresh your spirit."

John has been working very hard to make our entire resort wheelchair accessible. Six of our cabins are now sufficiently wheelchair accessible; Aspen, Alder, Ironwood II, Birch, Cedar and Maple.  A ramp can also be put on Spruce for easier access.  Hemlock now has a door on the back for an accessible entry but doorways inside are smaller than 36".  Please call us for more information as doorways in some cabins are smaller than 36".

Adaptive toys such as sit water and cross country skis and hand crank bikes can be arranged with enough notice. We offer wheelchair basketball and badminton, and sea kayaking, sailing and canoeing with our adaptable equipment. Our pontoon boat is an easy way to enjoy the lake and we have a portable ramp for your easy boarding.

The main lodge and three docks are accessible. There is a gentle sloping terrain to the water with relatively flat areas for a bonfire, swimming, picnicking, and outdoor games. Please call for more details.

We also host events at the resort where all or part of the resort is dedicated to an activity geared to people with disabilities and family/friends. Family Camps and Resort Weekends offer the wide range of activities available in the Pine Forest Lodge. An ATV Rally in the Spring and a Kayak Week in the Fall are geared to adaptive-specific activities.
