Balsam Cabin

Balsam has a double bed in one bedroom and two twin beds in the other.  The twin bedroom, living room, screen porch and kitchen overlook the lake.  The cabin has recently been renovated.  The bathroom has been updated and original floors restored.

There is a hill and a driveway between the cabin and the lake, but the view out the back is amazing!  It is of a private pond and this cabin is the only one that overlooks it.  Dreaming of a getaway that feels like you're in the middle of nowhere?  This is it.  The back deck overlooks the pond through a wide patio door.  So if you want to look at the pond from the living room, that's just fine.

The bathroom is a full bath with a shower/tub combo.  It is off of the kitchen but not right by the table.  The kitchen is separated from the living area by a hallway.  So if someone wants to sleep on the pull-out sofa, they won't hear anyone in the kitchen.

This cabin allows dogs at $10/day per dog.  There are trails behind, beside and down the hill from this cabin for your recreational pleasure.  Take your dog, or ride your mountain bike, or walk the miles of trails on our 40 acres.  Just past your cabin is the only trail to take in the beautiful point of land that we own.  Its adjoining the bay your cabin view is of.  There is a picnic table there for your outings too.  You can even swim in the private beach on the point.  But you'll have to share the point, even if your cabin is the closest to it.

This cabin is the furthest from the main lodge, main beach and campfire.  But even so, it is not a long walk and can be reached in less than 5 minutes.  Your cabin has a shared pier, which is accessed down a stairwell.
