Cedar Cabin

Cedar cabin is nestled on a small hill between the lodge and the lake.  It overlooks the lake and has an incredible, amazing view of the widest section of the lake to the northwest.  Sunsets are amazing from the wrap-around deck or have your coffee there as you watch the loons and eagles play.

The screen porch, living room and second bedroom all overlook the lake.  There is a master bedroom with a double bed and the second bedroom has two twin beds.  The views are amazing of the lake from almost every room.

The bathroom is a half-bath with a shower, no tub, but has been recently renovated.  The floors in the main living area have been restored to their original glory - wood.  This cabin is an authentic log cabin with an actual rock fireplace.  We supply the wood and you supply the viewing for your enjoyment.

The kitchen is a galley-type kitchen.  So there is not much room for two, but if you're a cook like me, you don't want anyone in there when you're cooking anyway.  There is a brand new refrigerator and stove/oven in this cabin too.

Wheelchairs can get into the cabin via the wrap-around deck onto the screen porch, but a wheelchair cannot get into the bathroom door.  The door is not wide enough.  So the person would have to transfer to a stool inside the door.  This doesn't bother some of our disabled friends who told us this is their favorite cabin.

This cabin is not open in the months where temperatures get below freezing.  So it is generally only open May through October 7th.
