Hemlock Cabin

Hemlock may be the smallest cabin in our resort, but it is voted the cutest.  The view of the lake from this cabin is probably the best at the resort.  The main living area is a combined kitchen, dining and living room area that has a great view of the main part of the lake.  The screen porch has a deck attached with stairs out the front that has been recently renovated.  Enjoy the call of the loon or watch the eagles soar as you sip your coffee on the front porch. 

The main bedroom has two double beds and new hardwood floors.  A back door has been added to this room to allow easier access to the parking area in back of the cabin. 

People who use wheelchairs can get into the cabin through the back entrance, but most wheelchairs cannot get into the bathroom through the small door.  So a transfer to a stool inside the bathroom would be required.  Call us for more information on accessibility in this cabin.

Recent updates include restoring the wood floors to their original glory, a new front deck, a new coat of varnish in the interior, entire upgrade of main bedroom including birch beams, paint, new floor, new lighting and new covers made of batiks.  The bathroom has been updated with new sink, cabinetry, mirror, flooring and shower (no tub).  The kitchen received a new counter top, larger hot water heater, new stove/oven and new table/chairs.  Even a new light/fan combo was installed.

Hike, bicycle, bird watch and more right from your cabin door.  There are miles of trails on our 40 acres for your recreation. 

This cabin is lovingly called the honeymoon cabin because it is a one-bedroom.  But once you step into the authentic log cabin, you will be pleasantly surprised by how spacious it is.  Relax in the wing-back chair and put your feet up on the ottoman.  Listen to the birds and enjoy the sparkle of the sunshine off the lake.
